I. ABOUT HA GIANG
Discover a majestic Ha Giang with many amazing nature beauties hidden behind every huge hill and mountain. A place with many beautiful terrains and bends, Ha Giang always attracts curious tourists to discover and admire, not only the nature but also the people, the attractiveness of the local cuisine. Many customs and practices have been included in the unique heritage treasure, preserved until today.
The journey to experience 4 days 3 nights in Ha Giang is one of the new, unique, scientific and safe journeys. - Day 2: Dong Van (special local market on Sunday) – Sky Path (White Clift) – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac (Homestay in Pa Vi village – the most beautiful village in Ha Giang)
- Day 3: Pa Vi Village – Nho Que River – M Bend (Mau Due) – Thuong Route – Du Gia.
- Day 4: Du Gia – Du Gia Waterfall – Thuong Route – Lanh Lung Tam (linen weaving village) – Quan Ba – Ha Giang City.

III. DETAIL SCHEDULE
DAY 1: HA GIANG CITY – QUAN BA HEAVEN GATE – LUNG TAM VILLAGE – NAM DAM VILLAGE – YEN MINH
Your four-day Ha Giang Loop adventure begins with a scenic journey from Ha Giang City into the mountains of Quan Ba and Yen Minh, with cultural villages and panoramic viewpoints along the way.
7:30–8:30 AM – Breakfast & Tour Preparation
Start the morning with breakfast at SkyPath Hostel before meeting your Easy Rider. Your guide will introduce the route, provide a short safety briefing, and prepare your riding equipment, including a helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads.
Once everything is ready, it’s time to leave Ha Giang City and begin the journey into the mountains.
9:00 AM – Bac Sum Pass & Quan Ba Heaven Gate
Ride across Bac Sum Pass before reaching Quan Ba Heaven Gate, one of the first major viewpoints of the trip. From here, enjoy sweeping views across the valley and the famous Quan Ba Twin Mountains.
Lung Tam Village – H’Mong Textile Traditions
Continue to Lung Tam Village, home to a H’Mong community known for traditional weaving and handmade textile production.
The village offers an opportunity to discover more about local craftsmanship and the techniques that have been passed down through generations.
12:00 PM – Lunch in Quan Ba
Stop in Quan Ba Town for lunch and a short break before continuing the afternoon journey.
1:30 PM – Nam Dam Village
Visit Nam Dam Village, a traditional Dao community surrounded by the peaceful countryside of Quan Ba. The village is particularly known for its distinctive rammed-earth houses and preserved local culture.
3:00 PM – Can Ty Pass
Continue toward Yen Minh via Can Ty Pass. The mountain road provides plenty of opportunities to stop, take photos, and enjoy the surrounding valleys and limestone landscapes.
5:00 PM – Overnight in Yen Minh
Arrive at your homestay in Yen Minh in the late afternoon.
After checking in, relax after the day’s ride and enjoy the evening with the group. Depending on the accommodation and conditions, you can enjoy the swimming pool, karaoke, and a taste of local “Happy Water” before settling in for the night.
DAY 2: YEN MINH – THAM MA PASS – LAO XA VILLAGE – LO LO CHAI – CHINA BORDER – DONG VAN
The second day combines some of Ha Giang’s most impressive mountain roads with traditional villages and landscapes near Vietnam’s northern border.
8:30 AM – Tham Ma Pass & Chin Khoanh Pass
After breakfast in Yen Minh, get back on the road and ride through the winding landscapes of Tham Ma Pass and Chin Khoanh Pass.
Continue to Lao Xa Village, where traditional houses and the surrounding mountain scenery offer another glimpse into everyday life in northern Ha Giang.
Lo Lo Chai, Then Pa & Northern Border Area
The journey continues toward Lo Lo Chai Village and Then Pa Village, surrounded by the dramatic landscapes of the Dong Van Karst Plateau.
As you travel farther north, you’ll also have an opportunity to see the mountainous border area between Vietnam and China.
12:15 PM – Lunch in Lung Cu
Stop in the Lung Cu area for lunch and take some time to rest before continuing the afternoon ride.
1:30 PM – Ma Pi Leng Pass
Continue toward the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, famous for its towering cliffs, winding mountain road, and spectacular views.
From the viewpoints along the pass, admire the dramatic peaks and the Nho Que River winding far below through the deep valley.
This is one of the most memorable landscapes of the entire Ha Giang Loop and a perfect place to stop for photos.
5:00 PM – Dong Van Town
Arrive in Dong Van Town in the late afternoon and check in at your hotel.
Spend the evening at your own pace exploring the atmospheric Dong Van Old Quarter, where traditional architecture, cafés, restaurants, and local life create a relaxing end to the day.
DAY 3: DONG VAN – MEO VAC – BAN AN STREAM – THAM LIN CAVE – DU GIA VILLAGE
Day 3 leaves the high rocky landscapes of Dong Van behind and takes you toward the greener valleys and waterways around Du Gia.
8:40 AM – Ma Pi Leng Sky Walk & Meo Vac
After breakfast in Dong Van, begin the morning with another journey through the spectacular Ma Pi Leng area.
Take a gentle walk along the Ma Pi Leng Sky Walk and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains before continuing toward Meo Vac.
From here, ride through remote villages and dramatic countryside on the way toward Mau Due.
Lunch in Mau Due
Stop in Mau Due for lunch and recharge before beginning the afternoon activities.
2:00 PM – Ngoc Long River & Tham Lin Cave
Continue approximately 25 km from Mau Due toward the Ngoc Long River area.
Board a traditional bamboo raft and enjoy a peaceful journey along the water, surrounded by mountains and untouched countryside.
The experience continues toward Tham Lin Cave, where you can explore the natural surroundings and, when conditions allow, enjoy a refreshing swim.
You’ll also experience the scenery around Ban An Stream before continuing toward Du Gia.
5:00 PM – Du Gia Village
Reach Du Gia Village in the late afternoon and check in at a local homestay surrounded by mountains and rice fields.
In the evening, sit down together for a generous home-cooked dinner prepared by your local host family. Meet other travelers, share stories from the road, and enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the homestay.
You can also try traditional “Happy Water” – locally produced corn wine – for a lively finish to another memorable day on the Loop.
DAY 4: DU GIA – DU GIA WATERFALL – LUNG HO VALLEY – THUAN HOA – HA GIANG CITY
The final morning begins among the peaceful landscapes of Du Gia before completing the journey back to Ha Giang City.
8:30 AM – Breakfast & Du Gia Waterfall
Enjoy breakfast with tea or coffee at the homestay and take in the quiet morning atmosphere of Du Gia Village.
After saying goodbye to your hosts, head toward Du Gia Waterfall for one final nature stop before beginning the return journey.
Continue through the beautiful countryside around Lung Ho Valley, passing small villages, rice fields, and mountain landscapes along the way.
10:30 AM – Thuan Hoa
Ride through the mountainous roads around Thuan Hoa, enjoying the changing scenery as the route gradually makes its way back toward Ha Giang City.
12:30 PM – Lunch in Thai An
Stop in Thai An for lunch and a short break before completing the final section of your Ha Giang Loop journey.
3:00 PM – Return to Ha Giang City
Arrive back at SkyPath Hostel in Ha Giang City in the afternoon, marking the end of your four-day adventure.
Travelers returning to Hanoi can board the 4:00 PM limousine bus. Onward transportation can also be arranged for destinations such as Sapa, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba, or the airport, depending on your travel plans.
10:00 PM – Arrival in Hanoi
Guests taking the afternoon limousine are expected to arrive in the Hanoi Old Quarter at approximately 10:00 PM.
