III. DETAIL SCHEDULE

DAY 1: HA GIANG CITY – QUAN BA – NAM DAM – YEN MINH – DONG VAN

Your Ha Giang adventure begins with a scenic ride from Ha Giang City toward the dramatic mountain landscapes of Dong Van, with stops at viewpoints, mountain passes, and traditional villages along the way.

7:30–8:30 AM – Breakfast & Tour Preparation
Start the morning with breakfast in Ha Giang City before meeting your Easy Rider and getting ready for the journey. Your guide will introduce the day’s route, provide a short safety briefing, and prepare essential riding equipment such as a helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads.

9:00 AM – Bac Sum Pass & Quan Ba Heaven Gate
Leave Ha Giang City and begin climbing into the mountains via Bac Sum Pass, one of the first impressive sections of the Ha Giang Loop. Continue to Quan Ba Heaven Gate, where you can stop to enjoy panoramic views over the surrounding valleys and the famous Quan Ba Twin Mountains.

Nam Dam Village & Can Ty Pass
The journey continues to Nam Dam Village, home to the Dao ethnic community. Take some time to experience the peaceful rural atmosphere and see the village’s distinctive traditional rammed-earth houses.

From Nam Dam, ride deeper into the mountains and follow the winding road across Can Ty Pass toward Yen Minh.

12:30 PM – Lunch in Yen Minh
Stop in Yen Minh Town for lunch and a short break before continuing toward Dong Van.

2:00 PM – Tham Ma Pass & Chin Khoanh Pass
After lunch, ride through the spectacular mountain scenery of Tham Ma Pass, famous for its twisting road and surrounding limestone peaks. Along the route, you may also encounter local H’Mong communities and children from nearby mountain villages.

Continue across Chin Khoanh Pass, enjoying more dramatic landscapes as the route approaches the Dong Van Karst Plateau.

5:30 PM – Arrival in Dong Van
Reach Dong Van Town in the late afternoon and check in at your accommodation. After a full day on the road, enjoy dinner and spend the evening relaxing with the group.

For those who want to join in, the evening may include a taste of local “Happy Water” and some karaoke — a fun way to finish your first day exploring the Ha Giang Loop.

DAY 2: DONG VAN – MEO VAC – BAN AN STREAM – THAM LIN CAVE – DU GIA VILLAGE

Day 2 takes you deeper into the mountains of Ha Giang, combining spectacular mountain roads with a relaxing river experience before spending the night in the peaceful countryside of Du Gia.

8:30 AM – Dong Van & Ma Pi Leng Pass
After breakfast in Dong Van, begin the morning ride toward Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most spectacular sections of the Ha Giang Loop.

Stop for a gentle walk along the Ma Pi Leng Sky Walk, where you can admire the towering limestone mountains and deep valleys below. The journey then continues through Meo Vac, passing small mountain villages and impressive landscapes on the way toward Mau Due.

Lunch in Mau Due
Take a break in Mau Due for lunch and some time to recharge before the afternoon adventure.

2:00 PM – Ngoc Long River & Tham Lin Cave
Continue approximately 25 km from Mau Due toward the Ngoc Long River area.

Here, you’ll board a traditional bamboo raft and slowly make your way along the river, surrounded by peaceful mountain scenery. The ride leads toward Tham Lin Cave, a hidden natural spot where you can explore the surroundings and, when conditions are suitable, cool off with a swim.

Along the route, you’ll also have the chance to enjoy the scenery around Ban An Stream before continuing toward Du Gia.

5:00 PM – Du Gia Village & Homestay
Arrive at Du Gia Village in the late afternoon and settle into a local homestay surrounded by green fields and mountain landscapes.

In the evening, gather together for a generous home-cooked dinner prepared by the local family. It’s a relaxed opportunity to enjoy local food, share stories from the day’s ride, and experience the hospitality of Du Gia.

And if you’re feeling adventurous, try a small glass of traditional “Happy Water” – locally made corn wine – and enjoy a lively evening with your fellow travelers before calling it a night.

DAY 3: DU GIA – DU GIA WATERFALL – LUNG HO VALLEY – LUNG TAM VILLAGE – THUAN HOA – HA GIANG CITY

The final day of the Ha Giang Loop begins with a quiet morning in Du Gia before riding back toward Ha Giang City through valleys, traditional villages, and beautiful mountain roads.

8:30 AM – Breakfast & Du Gia Waterfall
Wake up to the peaceful atmosphere of Du Gia Village and enjoy breakfast with a cup of tea or coffee. After saying goodbye to your local hosts, get back on the road for the final day of the journey.

The first stop is Du Gia Waterfall, a refreshing natural spot surrounded by the green landscapes of northern Ha Giang.

From here, continue through the beautiful countryside around Lung Ho Valley, enjoying one last stretch of rural scenery along the Loop.

Lung Tam Village – Traditional H’Mong Weaving
Continue toward Lung Tam Village, a H’Mong community well known for its traditional textile and weaving techniques.

During the visit, you’ll have an opportunity to learn more about how local artisans create handmade fabrics using skills that have been passed down through generations.

10:30 AM – Thuan Hoa & Mountain Roads
Get back on the motorbike and continue through the mountainous roads around Thuan Hoa. This section offers another chance to enjoy Ha Giang’s valleys, villages, and mountain scenery before returning to the city.

12:30 PM – Lunch in Thai An
Stop in Thai An for lunch and take a short rest before completing the final section of the ride.

3:00 PM – Return to Ha Giang City
Arrive back in Ha Giang City in the afternoon, marking the end of your three-day Ha Giang Loop adventure.

Travelers continuing to Hanoi can prepare for the 4:00 PM limousine bus, while onward transportation can also be arranged for destinations such as Sapa, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba, or the airport, depending on your travel plans.

10:00 PM – Arrival in Hanoi
For guests traveling back to Hanoi, the journey is expected to finish in the Hanoi Old Quarter at approximately 10:00 PM.
